Meet John Kinsey, FNP
John Kinsey has been in health care and public service for over 30 years. He began as a volunteer firefighter/ first responder and moved up the ranks to paramedic for over 20 years. During this time as a paramedic, he also served as a reserve deputy sheriff, a swat medic and went to Iraq as a contractor. John has served on a disaster medical team for the federal government, with deployments to many natural and man-made disasters - even to Japan for the first COVID patients.
John went back to school and obtained his associates, bachelors and two master degrees in nursing. He has lived in Alaska where he worked in some very remote villages as a search and rescue flight crew member. After coming back home to Mississippi, John attended UMMC’s program for Tele-emergency medicine, which puts nurse practitioners in emergency rooms across the state in a rural setting. In 2021, John married his wife, Tracy. Opening their own clinic had been a dream of theirs for a long time; In 2022 the dream has become a reality. Westside Aesthetics Health & Wellness.
